The Landings is a coastal community with wonderful amenities including golf, tennis, fitness and others, including two marinas. With such easy access to the water, it is hard to resist the urge to get out on a boat and enjoy the beautiful weather. One economical and fun way to do that is by joining The Landings Rhodes 19 Sailing Club. For a nominal monthly fee, Sailing Club members are entitled to use any of the seven Rhodes 19 sailboats that are kept at Landings Harbor Marina. In addition, there are Sailing Club races many weekends (alternating Saturday and Sunday), and the members have a great time trying to best one another around the marks. Note that the boats are available for use ONLY by Sailing Club members and their guests. They are not available for rent or lease.

Whether your sailing experience is extensive or non-existent, you will be welcomed aboard one of our boats. We team all sailors with an experienced skipper until you are checked out and ready to take the helm yourself. Race crews consist of either two or three people, although the boat can comfortably hold four people. We sail on the Wilmington River end enjoy reliable breezes and calm seas pretty much year round. It's a great location for day sailors.
