Landings Harbor Marine Services Delegal Creek Marina

Landings Harbor Marina

Landings Harbor is on the northernmost point of The Landings community. It is adjacent to the Wilmington River, just south of the charted Priest Landing between Markers # “23” and “22.” The Atlantic Ocean and the beaches of Wassaw Island and Williamson Island are within a five-mile radius.

Landings Harbor has 331 dry-storage rack spaces, which can accommodate boats up to 27 feet. Boats stored in the racks are put into the water using forklifts and a boat elevator system.

The protected harbor has 30 wet slips. Boats up to 50 feet can be accommodated. Dockside depths are 5 to 8 feet. Dockside water and 30- and 50-amp power are available at each wet slip. Immediately adjacent to the boat rack storage is our Marine Service Shop. Staffed by a qualified marine mechanic, the shop can repair most engines, and the Marina is a certified dealer for Yamaha, Mercruiser and Mercury Outboards. A Routine Service Program contract is offered that gives boats a routine check of almost everything once each quarter, providing the owner with confidence that the boat should be in working order when wanted.

The Marina office and store are located between the racks and the docks. The porch of the building is a favored hangout for members, and rocking chairs and free coffee are provided to encourage social interaction. Marine supplies, clothing items, food and beverages are included in the available items. From the dock area the Marina sells fuel and bait 7 days a week.

On the waterfront area, the Marina maintains wash racks for members to work on boats and a screened-in fish cleaning station.

At this harbor, the Marina offers additional services, such as boat and auto washing and detailing and scenic boat tours.

The protected harbor has 30 wet slips. Boats up to 44 feet can be accommodated. Dockside depths are 8 feet +. Dockside water and 30- and 50-amp power are available at each wet slip. Top

Landings Marine Service

The Marine service center is located in the southeast corner of the Landings Harbor Marina complex. It is staffed by one or two qualified mechanics Monday through Friday. The Service Center is a certified dealer for Yamaha, Mercruiser, and Mercury engines, which means that the shop can perform covered warranty work on these engines. The hours of the shop are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, year-round.

In addition to engine work, the shop does some wiring, painting and other mechanical jobs. On more detailed projects, such as fiberglass work and electronic components, outside contractors whose work is known to us are brought in, where the owner approves.

Local boaters are encouraged to sign up for the RSP contract (Routine Service Program) to help ensure that their boats will work properly when they use them. The routine service work usually involves parts already available when the boats are taken into the shop. The RSP contract also entitles the contracting boater to a 10% discount on fuel. The contract is for a minimum one year term and includes three services a year.

Routine Service Program Contract Prices (including all labor but not parts or shop

Supplies): $300 per year.
