Coastal Georgia Indicators Community Conversation: October 16
Head over to Skidaway Island United Methodist Church on October 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. and take part in a community conversation led by The Coastal Georgia Indicators Coalition (CGIC).
The group, retained by Chatham County, is soliciting input on a myriad of subjects, with the purpose of developing a comprehensive long-range strategic plan known as the Chatham Community Blueprint 2035.
The Chatham Community Blueprint 2035 will examine all facets of communities in Chatham County to determine what direction should be taken to sustain and improve them.
Through this process, CGIC reports it will draw upon existing research and identified specific indicators in combination with input from businesses, organizations, community stakeholders, and champions to enrich the collective understanding of local issues and solutions. Input is being solicited through neighborhood forums, focus group conversations, public opinion surveys, and community-wide meetings.
